This year, with "CEATEC JAPAN 2008" as a start, the festival will be held from September 30th (Tue) through October 28th (Tue). It's 29days. We drastically shortened the term from last year's term, 40 days.

To provide the opportunity when a person concerned with the contents all over the world can see a lot of Japanese contents at a time in order that the contents in every field in Japan are sent to the world in cooperation with each other.
To bring international collaborations and business　in providing opportunity to exchange with world contents centering on Asia, and also interchange of people concerned with contents.

The Main Character to symbolize CoFesta is Koji Yakusyo who is an international movie star. 2008 Image Character is Anne who works actively as international model and movie star. CoFesta's art design will be helmed by energetic art director, Kashiwa Sato, who represents the present Japan. Furthermore, the composer of the theme music will be Joe Hisaishi, composer whocreates numerous film music.
