After the 2004 Asian tsunami disaster, the four unrelated volunteers meet by fate in the Tsunami devastated Sri Lanka. They gather supplies and drive down the coast to the tribal village where more than 2,500 people were killed. They begin to give medical treatments to more than three thousand disaster victims at their first aid station in the refugee camp breaking every rule in the “Disaster Aid books.” What the four volunteers thought to be a two-week journey spirals into a year-long odyssey of hope, heartbreak and setbacks to finally regenerate the entire village out of the rubble.
